Georgia Waiting To Learn Bowl Destination
 | Athens, Ga. ---With the regular season complete, the 17th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs now wait to learn where they will be invited for their 44th bowl game in school history. Georgia finished the regular season with a 9-3 mark including 6-2 in the Southeastern Conference. Lady Bulldogs Down Tennessee Tech, 72-46
_m.jpg) Andy Landers and Angela Puleo | Athens, Ga. --- Angela Puleo posted game-high tallies of 13 points, seven assists and three steals to lead the Georgia Lady Bulldogs (7-1) to a 72-46 victory over Tennessee Tech (1-6) before a crowd of 3,042 at Stegeman Coliseum on Wednesday night. Puleo connected on three first-half three-pointers to help Georgia open up a 41-24 lead at intermission. For the game, she made 5-of-8 shots from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point range. The Georgia teams of 1948, sixty years ago, and 1968, forty years ago, won Southeastern Conference titles. The Bulldogs had to defeat Georgia Tech in Athens to win the championship in the last game of the ’48 season, but by the time Tech came to town in 1968, the championship had been settled. Georgia Tech got out of the SEC in 196__which meant that the Bulldogs, in championship years, had to confirm its conference titles against Auburn. Read more of SEC champions 48, 68
